What is NoteGate?
NoteGate is a compliance layer for care documentation. Workers write their own shift notes, incident reports and care plans. NoteGate checks each one against the relevant standards before it is saved, then keeps the evidence trail so that a provider can show an auditor how records were checked and corrected. Who built NoteGate
NoteGate was built by Dr Toyin Popoola, Co-founder (PhD, Digital Health). Dr Popoola led the paper-to-digital clinical documentation transformation across a hospital network in Far North Queensland, and has operator experience as a Service Manager inside disability support providers and as the founder of Hopesway, a SIL provider. Hopesway is NoteGate’s founding customer and a related entity. Dr Toyin Popoola on LinkedIn.
What NoteGate is not
- It is not a note writer. The worker is always the author.
- It does not determine compliance. Audit and regulatory outcomes remain the provider’s responsibility.
- It is not a CRM, rostering or scheduling platform, and it does not require you to switch one.
